Day 2 - Welcome to London
Arrive in London where centuries of Christian history greet you at every turn. Morning arrival will include airport transfer to central hotel. Optional afternoon activity is a tour of Westminster Abbey, with an evening welcome dinner and trip orientation at the hotel.

Day 3 – The Legacy of Wesley and Spurgeon
Today you’ll trace the footsteps of revival. Begin at Metropolitan Tabernacle, where Charles Spurgeon, the “Prince of Preachers,” proclaimed the gospel to thousands. You’ll stand where his booming voice once called hearts to Christ, then visit his home site at Beulah Hill and gravesite at West Norwood Cemetery, where his life of faith and endurance is remembered. In the afternoon, you’ll explore John Wesley’s Chapel and home and nearby Bunhill Fields, final resting place of John Bunyan and Susanna Wesley. You’ll hear the story of courage that carried faith beyond pulpits and into the streets. End your day with a stroll through London and take in the city at your own pace. Dinner will be at your leisure in London.

Day 4 – Oxford: Scholars and Martyrs
Step into the timeless beauty of Oxford, a city where faith and intellect have shaped generations. Wander through Christ Church and Magdalen College, home to great thinkers like C.S. Lewis, John Wesley, and the Inklings. Pause at the Martyrs’ Memorial, honoring heroes like Hugh Latimer, who stood firm for truth. Enjoy a classic English lunch at The Eagle and Child, the famed restaurant where Lewis and Tolkien met weekly to discuss early drafts of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings. In the historic “Rabbit Room,” you’ll feel the creative spirit that inspired their beloved works.
Continue to The Kilns, Lewis’s quiet countryside home, where he wrote Mere Christianity and many of his most influential reflections.
This unforgettable day invites you to explore how reason, imagination, and faith have come together in one of the world’s most inspiring places. Dinner will come with a twist tonight as you will be invited to stay after the meal for a short talk given by a local Oxford professor.

Day 5 – Bedford and English Countryside: The Pilgrim’s Faith
Depart Oxford in the morning and travel to Bedford, where you’ll visit the John Bunyan Museum and Church, stepping into the world of the beloved author of The Pilgrim’s Progress. From there, your journey continues north through the rolling English countryside, passing villages and landscapes that have shaped centuries of Christian thought and tradition. By early evening, you’ll arrive in the historic walled city of York—an enduring center of English Christianity since Roman times. Enjoy dinner in central York on your own or with friends you’ve made from the group.

Day 6 – York and Durham: Churches that shaped England
This morning we will see York Minster, one of the world’s great cathedrals. Its soaring stained glass and ancient stones tell stories of worship, reform, and the steadfast faith of generations. After lunch, continue in our tour of Durham Cathedral, home of St. Cuthbert and a beacon of traditional Christian devotion since the 11th century. You’ll walk through the cloisters (familiar to many from film, but holier for their true purpose) and reflect on the quiet faith that shaped northern England. Enjoying the longer days in the north, you’ll gather for a warm dinner at the hotel once in Durham after taking in the city.

Day 7 – Edinburgh: The City of Reformer
Welcome to Edinburgh, where every cobblestone holds a story of faith and fire. We will have a full day with the drive then touring Edinburgh Castle and visiting St. Margaret’s Chapel, the city’s oldest church and symbol of humble devotion amid power. Walk down the Royal Mile to St. Giles’ Cathedral, the pulpit of John Knox, whose fearless preaching ignited the Scottish Reformation. Step into John Knox House, filled with artifacts and echoes of his uncompromising faith, then continue to Greyfriars Kirk, where the National Covenant was signed in defiance of tyranny.

Day 8 – St. Andrews and Holyrood: Faith Renewed
Travel to St. Andrews, the cradle of Scottish Protestantism, where early martyrs shaped the nation’s faith. Walk through the dramatic ruins of the Cathedral and Castle, where reformers like George Wishart stood firm for the gospel. Enjoy a special tea service overlooking the world-famous Old Course—a perfect moment to pause and take in the beauty of the coast. In the afternoon, we will return to Edinburgh to explore the atmospheric ruins of Holyrood Abbey, once a seat of royal power and now a quiet testament to faith’s endurance. Conclude the evening with a farewell dinner in the heart of the city, reflecting on a journey that has traced centuries of Christian heritage—ending with memories made, friendships formed, and hearts inspired.
